2023 trip
Costa Rica Summer Field Research (High School only)
Our 2023 trip is set for June 7-17. We ARE recruiting to add members for this trip. Students will spend 10 days doing field research both in the rainforest and on the coast, specifically with leaf cutter ants and their antibiotic potential.
In our immersion field research program, students are creating original science research on real world problems, while improving the sustainability of a small remote Costa Rican rainforest village.
Very few summer research opportunities for high school students are original research. Our Rainforest Summer Research Program is original research and that makes it even more valuable on the student's transcript.
